AKA New York

Who better to launch a clothing line than a group of fashion editors? Cue former US Elle alums Abigale Levinson, Karen Reinitz and Ana Maria Pimentel who together created AKA New York in 2004. Inspired by the runway's most cutting-edge trends, the trio have designed a wearable line of crochet-collar tops, liquid gold lamé blouses and silk batwing dresses. Young Hollywood approves - Mischa Barton is already a fan.
