London-based designer Allegra Hicks describes her look as 'grown-up bohemian'. Having studied fine art in Italy and been an artist's assistant in New York, Hicks went on to become a print designer in the interiors industry, creating designs for wallpaper, rugs and upholstery fabrics. Her tropical prints translated easily into a fashion line which she launched in 1999.
