Designer Barbara Constantinescu launched Bajra, an exclusive collection of cashmere and silk shawls, following a trekking holiday to the Annapurna region of Nepal in 1992. Her Nepalese inspired designs, which focus on luxury and embellishment including cashmere and leather with details including appliqué work, metallic beads and delicate fringes, are worked from conception to production in collaboration with the weavers, beaders and seamstresses of the region.
