Australian designers Deborah Sams and Mary Lou Ryan launched their line of luxe basics in 2006 with the aim of designing clothes for women for whom, "fashion is about quality, comfort and understated style", says Sams. Using the softest organic cotton, Bassike (pronounced "basic") stays true to its name with an easy-chic offering of relaxed wardrobe staples with a downtown twist. We love the slouchy track pants, oversized T-shirts and effortlessly-cool tank dresses in a slick, minimalist palette of gray, white and black.
