For LA based label development keeping their designs understated has been a constant aim since the brand was founded in 2001. The youthful line excels in modern urban shapes softened by luxury fabrics and soft details – a legacy left by co-founder and long-time creative director Phillip Lim. In Spring 2006 Central St Martin’s Graduate, Erica Davies took the creative reigns and is continuing development’s brand of elegant LA cool that strikes such a chord with a downtown crowd, as well as the likes of Cameron Diaz and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
