Having grown up in a household of tailors and apprenticed with Cristobal Balenciaga, Emanuel Ungaro was destined to launch his own line. In 1965 he did just that and bold use of color, print and shape-enhancing cuts soon became his hallmark. In September 2009, former Spanish Vogue journalist, Estrella Archs was appointed chief designer and key pieces for cruise include sharp-tailored blazers, cropped denim jackets and playful zip-embellished pinstripe dresses.
