Fun-loving and enthusiastic, Isaac Mizrahi was expelled from school for sketching dresses in his Bible. He opened his first clothing business in 1987, after studying fashion at Parsons School of Design. In 2003 he embarked on a couture line and went on to receive three Designer of the Year awards from the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Over the years, Mizrahi has put his abundant energy to good use on projects like costume design and presenting a tv show.
