Growing up in the family business of making Florentine straw hats, Romualdo Dori was inspired by Dutch shopping baskets and designed his first woven straw handbag in 1956. After years designing with his wife, Daria, Romualdo passed his duties to his son, Maurizio, the line’s current designer. Both whimsical and luxurious, Rodo's handmade collections feature the finest leathers, furs and fabrics, with 24-carat gold fittings, brass clasps and Swarovski jeweled ornaments created in-house.
