She plays Maggie, the seductive but neglected wife made famous by Elizabeth Taylor in the 1958 film adaptation. Cate Blanchett marks her final season at the Sydney Theatre Company with a star turn in The Maids, Jean Genet's play based on the true story of the murderous Papin sisters.
