British bad-girl rapper MIA has announced that she will be releasing her fourth studio album this spring. Matangi – her first name and also the name of the Hindu goddess of wisdom – is rumored to include the previously leaked track, "Attention".
LILY ROSE COOPER
Despite announcing her musical retirement back in 2010, the Brit singer and Karl Lagerfeld favorite is set to make an exciting comeback this year. The album promises a more mature sound and is said to include tracks about her husband, Sam Cooper, and daughter, Ethel. Watch this space.
BEYONCÉ
Queen B makes her post-baby return this year with a half-time performance at the Super Bowl on February 3 and a brand-new album. Reportedly named Touchdown, it’s the megastar’s fifth solo offering. Expect dance-floor hits, soaring ballads and lots of attitude.
LADY GAGA
The pop provocateur has revealed that she has already written 50 new tracks for her forthcoming album, ARTPOP, due for release next month. Not only will it be available as a regular CD, but also as an interactive app where Little Monsters everywhere can find bonus tracks, remixes and videos for eachand every track.
