2. High-octane glamour...
Gucci
THE CLOTHING: With the enduring allure of '70s style icon Marisa Berenson in mind, designer Frida Giannini serves up a series of sleek tunic and pant combinations with a punchy palette of turquoise, fuchsia and coral.
THE BEAUTY: Maximum impact is the message, as sultry, smoky eye makeup takes center stage. "It's smouldering and luxurious with tons of lashes," says Pat McGrath of the look. For a contemporary edge, hairstylist Luigi Murenu pulled glossy locks away from the face and into a sharp center parting, before knotting and securing lengths at the nape of the neck.
3. Tomboy chic...
Chloé
THE CLOTHING: Feminine with an androgynous twist, this season sees the Chloé girl nod to the Swinging Sixties with structured, square-cut pants and ruffle-front shifts.
THE BEAUTY: While a fresh-faced complexion plays to the collection's boyish undertone, shimmering copper eyes make a glam statement. "It's a graphic take on the '60s," says makeup artist Diane Kendal. Hairstylist Guido also created a retro "loose, looped pony with a deep side parting".
