    my wish list

“Anything from ERDEM pre-fall and Christopher Kane’s PINK but TOUGH party dress”

    What’s your earliest fashion memory?

“My vintage shopping quests to find specific pieces, like a classic oversized men’s coat. Now I mix vintage with London designers.”

What does being a Cultural Ambassador for the British Fashion Council involve?

“It’s pretty diverse, from building new relationships with designers to creating short fashion film projects or simply wearing up-and-coming labels – which I love!”

    Is film important for fashion?

“Film content has huge value in terms of developing a new brand. I work with the BFC and Fash/On Film to encourage designers to make short films as part of their fashion week presentation. Matching emerging designers with new directors is exciting.”

Who are the rising stars of British film right now?

“In the world of fashion film, I admire the work of Kathryn Ferguson, Quentin Jones and Sam Taylor-Johnson – they are all

    totally ground-breaking.”

    Describe your personal style.

“I like referencing the past, infused with a modern spirit. I’ll wear a ’40s tea dress with a tailored blazer.”

    Whose fashion do you admire?

“Florence Welch is a great British style ambassador. As are Poppy and Alexa – they're both original.”

    Your wardrobe essentials?

“Charlotte Olympia heels – her playful spirit really infuses her collections. Christopher Kane tees are the best around and I couldn’t live without my Stella McCartney denim. For evening, I love a Jonathan Saunders printed blouse and skirt.”

    What is your fashion mantra?

    “Don’t overthink it.”
