“I felt HONORED to be supported by him during that DIFFICULT time. It was wonderful to get up there, show my STRENGTH”

    WHO ARE YOUR GO-TO DESIGNERS?

“I love Tom Ford, Céline, Alaïa and Alexander Wang. I think he [Wang] is doing such brilliant things – his pieces are so fresh and wearable.”

WHAT PERSUADED YOU TO MAKE YOUR RUNWAY RETURN FOR ALEXANDER WANG SS13?

“Alex [Wang] called and asked me to do it. It was a defining moment and I felt honored to be supported by him during that difficult time.

I was not in a good way at that point in my life and felt incredibly vulnerable. Doing the show was daunting, but it was wonderful to get up there, show my strength and shine for someone who believes in me. I was very grateful.”

WHAT IS YOUR ULTIMATE CATWALK MOMENT SO FAR?

“The first time I walked for Dior in Paris aged 19 – such a spectacle. John Galliano was at the helm then and [makeup artist] Pat McGrath had created these big paper eyelashes for us all to wear. It was incredible to be that young and work with such pioneering talents.”

DOES ACTING FEEL LIKE A NATURAL PROGRESSION FROM MODELING?

    “Yes, absolutely. Both are about

performing, but acting takes it to the next level. It's inspiring.”

HOW DO YOU FEEL WHEN ACTING?

“Free and bizarrely at ease, which is strange because I've always been such a shy girl. In front of the camera, I can be somebody else.”

WHAT'S ON YOUR SS13 WISH LIST?

“One of Alexander Wang's white leather shifts. I am also lusting after one of Simone Rocha's lace dresses – I think her collections are very cool.”

    YOUR LATEST BEAUTY FIND?

“Sisley's moisturizing sunscreen. I wear it everyday in LA, otherwise I'd tan just collecting my mail.”

    YOUR LIFE MOTTO?

    “Live, love, laugh.”
