• Beauty:Rock'n' roll hair
    Your guide to summer’s sexiest
    hairstyles, inspired by the
    ultimate music muse, Kate

When it comes to getting the rock-chick hair to accompany your VIP pass, there is only one inspiration: seasoned festival-goer, Kate Moss.

Moss' signature hairstyle has always been a, "just rolled out of bed" look. This devil-may-care 'do relies on styling's best friend: the second-day effect hair. Aim for a tousled texture and a dash of well-spaced color. Master the basics of the following three "undone" styles, add a carefree attitude and you're good to go.

This looks most effective on a mid-to-long length cut. It's easy to maintain, but the key is in the nuances. "Tuck hair behind ears while it is damp," advises hairstylist Luke Hersheson, who regularly coifs Moss' hair. "This creates a kink, giving an effortless shape." Finish with a messy centre parting for that model insouciance.

    STEP 1
Work a small amount of Philip B Gravity-Defying Gel into damp hair and rough dry to 90 percent.

    STEP 2
Use a tong, such as WAM Ceramic Marcel Curling Tong, to create natural-looking waves. In sections, wind hair around the barrel and hold for 30 seconds.

    STEP 3
Finally, use your fingers to break up the curls and mist through some dry shampoo, like Hershesons Batiste Dry Shampoo, to add a matte finish.
