- The Edit’s KIM HERSOV reveals how to work FW13's punk trend into your closet with three hero pieces
With the kick of a biker boot, a riot of plaid and a whole lot of attitude, punk-inspired glamor stormed the runways this fall. Glossy leather pants and sequin slogan tees spun a fierce but alluring mood at Versace, while Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci teamed sheer pencil skirts with graphic sweaters and structured leather jackets. Even the master of sports-luxe tailoring, Reed Krakoff, upped the ante, pairing leather kilts with thigh-high boots. “It's easy to make this trend work, just break down the look into key pieces and mix them with sleek city separates,” says Kim.
