- The Edit’s KIM HERSOV shows us how to wear the season’s mannish-chic trend with just three key pieces
Borrowing from the boys is the fashion directive this fall, as designers call on traditional men’s suiting to inspire their new collections. Supersized proportions set an androgynous tone at Vanessa Bruno, where tuxedo jackets framed sporty sweaters, while billowing wide-leg pants sailed down the runway at Maison Martin Margiela. The mood continued at Chloé, as "made for him" shirts were tucked into preppy pinafore dresses and finished with Chelsea boots. "These dapper silhouettes can be tempered with ladylike staples to create an elegant look by day or night," says Hersov.

Emphasizing your waist and height are the keys to anchoring this voluminous shape. Partner the pants with a fitted shirt and sky-high pointed pumps.
