    Tamara Rojo skips past me at the entrance to the English National Ballet (ENB) HQ in a black lace tutu and ballet slippers. By the time I’ve gone up the stairs to her chic Kensington office, the company’s principal dancer and artistic director has already changed into a pair of skinny jeans and clogs. “I love wearing really, really high heels,” says this modern-day diva, smiling broadly, “but day-to-day, I’m rushing around a lot, so I need to be comfortable.”

    Last August, after 12 years performing the lead at the Royal Ballet, Rojo returned to the ENB,
