“Start with the gut”, or so the saying goes, and as a mother, model and full-time nutritionist, it certainly rings true with me. Food fads come and go, but taking care of gut health needs to be our one constant, regardless of our busy schedules, and is, incidentally, essential for ensuring a trimmer stomach. The gut controls what we need and eliminates waste. It is also where 90-95 percent of serotonin is located – the hormone responsible for feeling happy, and that has a huge impact on our overall wellbeing.
