“This leather appliquéd jacket is a work of art.”
“Make a printed skirt office-appropriate
with a simple
blush suggests effort without looking too polished.”
It seems unbelievable, but The EDIT is already one year old. We have photographed and interviewed over a hundred women so far – all with great style and a great story – and with so many incredible women to choose from, it is tough to pick a highlight. There is one, though, who stands out as special. Sarah Jessica Parker covered one of our first-ever issues, dancing her way through a shoot with photographer Alexi Lubomirski and opening up about fashion debates with her twin daughters and the damage her love of high heels had wrought on her feet (read the interview here). In short, she was a star. Which is why, to celebrate our anniversary, we asked the accomplished actress to pose for us again.
Interviewing Parker for a second time, I was able
to have an honest conversation with her about the subjects she is most passionate about. It was illuminating and inspiring – see the results on page 10. So thank you, Sarah Jessica. Same time next year?
