WHEN I NEED A
Museum of Modern Art
I have always been inspired by art and the MoMA has an amazing collection. Every time I go there is something fresh, from Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons to Cy Twombly. It has so many of my favorite artists in such a beautiful space. It’s a nice way to escape without leaving the city. moma.org
The High Line
I love to walk The High Line from my studio to the art galleries in Chelsea – Paul Kasmin (paulkasmingallery.com) and Pace (pacegallery.com) are my favorites. The High Line is the most amazing park in the sky, built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets. It really makes you feel connected to the river and the city, and it has added so much to the Meatpacking District.
