Are you a magnificent gardener? No, neither am I, but if there is one thing I do have a passion for, enough to get me out of bed before dawn, it’s a good flower market. Flowers, in my opinion, make a room, and £400 worth of peonies or tulips – in the right glass vase next to a giant bowl of the right colored jelly beans – really does it for me in a way that nothing else can.
Which bodes well for fashion’s floral flourishes this season. Not insipid pastel ones or ditsy little sprigs, though. SS14 is all about big, bold tropical prints, a bit like an Aloha shirt, but not so literally, if you see what I mean. Think hothouse
