For me, this issue of The EDIT is like a breath of fresh air. The images of model Toni Garrn in our cover shoot have an instant invigorating effect: I want to feel the sea’s fine spray on my face, give up on combing fingers through my windswept hair and grin madly at my fellow crew in lieu of being able to hear each other over the sounds of roaring engine and slicing sea. And I want to do all of those things while wearing a knitted Marni sweater, a Melissa Odabash bikini and Gucci sneakers. Because while we’ve seen the nautical look before, this season’s incarnation takes the feeling of classic freshness it evokes and injects it with a shot of something more spirited. We've picked the key pieces that nail this look in the most contemporary way; each is an item you'll find yourself wearing again and again.
