    we’re both so busy, but she’s one of my closest friends,” Garrn says. It’s a similar case of agenda roulette with her other runway friends Kasia Struss, Constance Jablonski and Jourdan Dunn. “When we get together we have sleepovers and order room service.”

    Garrn has career longevity in her sights. “I’m very happy I began early,” she says. “I’ve seen so much and had a huge career already, but at the same time, I’m just starting.” She looks up to Christy Turlington, the model’s model, with her three decades in front of the camera and respected charity work. “What Christy has done in her career just seems so effortless, and [her charity] Every Mother Counts is amazing.” Garrn is currently occupied with her own child-focused charity project, which aims to improve education standards in Africa. And she’ll hopefully get more beach time in the near future, but she’s unsure where she’ll escape to. “I’m very spoiled now,” she says, smiling, “I’ve been to

    Perhaps unsurprisingly for someone who spends so many working hours in bikinis, fitness is a priority. Garrn lives in yoga pants and sports bras – the better to accommodate daily runs, gym sessions or tennis matches. When in New York, she swears by Physique 57, the fitness studio whose punishing barre classes elicit devotion from some of the most-admired bodies in fashion. But even Garrn can fall victim to ‘gym-timidation’. “There’s always someone pregnant who looks like she’s in her ninth month and can still do everything perfectly,” she jokes. Not, you’d imagine, so unlike the indefatigable Toni Garrn.
