MY SPECIAL PLACE
I’ve been going to the quiet fishing village of Pyla-sur-Mer in the Gironde region of southwest France since I was a kid. It’s such a magical, special place. The sea helps me find my balance again. Even though I’ve traveled a lot, it’s still one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen in my life.

I have a little boat, so I like to sail around the bay and gaze at the villages. Cap Ferret and L’Herbe have a real Caribbean feel, with the fishermen’s houses and oyster farms. Or I’ll sail to L’île aux Oiseaux and spend the day on the Banc d’Arguin nature reserve with
