A flatters-all ’70s makeup trick. By Suzanne Scott
There are many trends from past decades that are best forgotten, but peach – as seen at Max Mara pre-fall 2017 (right) – is a welcome exception. “A young Lauren Hutton” was the inspiration behind the scenes, where makeup artist Tom Pecheux used Mac Heated Argument from the Trend Forecast Fall 17 lip palette around models’ eyes and Mac Extra Dimension Blush in Fairly Precious on their cheeks.
Any hue from apricot to dark peach will flatter, but if you’re pale, try one shade warmer than your skin tone. For a subtle haze of color, blend the same shade across your lids, temples and cheeks.Credits
