There's a touching sentimental note to Lukhanyo Mdingi's Fall '21 collection - it's named in honor of his late friend and fellow textile designer, Nicholas Coutts. Woven by local South African artisans from the Philani center using traditional craft techniques, this dress is patterned with tapestry-inspired jacquard and subtly flecked with light-catching metallic fibers. Fringing at the hem creates such beautiful movement.
