Pure Luxury
Welcome to the Maxx Royal Belek Resort – the perfect place to relax and unwind on Turkey’s mesmerizing Mediterranean coast
Turkey is many things: vibrant, exotic, fragrant and a feast for all the senses. Many visit for the hustle and bustle of the colorful souks, delicious food, ancient culture, stunning architecture and dry heat. It may not be the place you instinctively think of for the ultimate luxury relaxation holiday – until now.
A swift 45-minute drive from the historic city of Antalya, located on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, is a resort completely dedicated to the sheer happiness of its guests. Maxx Royal Belek boasts its own private sand beach, indoor and outdoor pools, access to a beautiful 18-hole golf course, a state-of-the-art spa, 10 restaurants, 15 bars, an on-site aqua park, sports facilities and more. That may sound a lot, but Maxx Royal is constantly looking for ways to improve the service they offer. They most recently completed a large-scale renovation of the Albatross villas, giving guests both nature and sea views in rooms decorated and furnished to the highest standard.
Everything you could need or want while on holiday has been considered. Fancy a personal training session? Done. Private cabana on the beach? Done. Totally vegan menu each day? Done. Maxx Royal has thought of it all. They enlist a specialist team of ‘assistants’ to satisfy guests’ every whim, from pillow preferences to bespoke spa packages designed down to the specific fragrance you’d like during your massage.
The Maxx Royal's spa, Aven Royal, can only be described as a slice of heaven. It offers both traditional Turkish treatments as well as modern, high-tech therapies involving LED light, oxygen, microcurrents and microdermabrasion. Guests could easily spend several days just working their way through the extensive list of what’s on offer. This year, a new treatment, Klang therapy, has been introduced. Using sound bath techniques, the meditation promotes stress relief, rejuvenation of cells and reduces tension.
Criticisms of large resorts like this tend to be based around sustainability and the environment, but Maxx Royal has thought of that too. Energy-saving technology is available throughout the property in order to use water, electricity and other resources in the most economical way possible. Even waste is separated and sorted by specialist companies so that the resort’s eco credentials are as extensive as they can be.
We are all guilty of working too hard, sleeping too little and putting ourselves at the bottom of the priority list. Do your mental health and body a favor and let Maxx Royal Belek Resort readdress the balance.
