WHAT: Addresses don’t get much more romantic than Grey Gardens, once the home of Edith Ewing Bouvier Beale and her daughter Edith Bouvier Beale, so it should come as no surprise that when its current owner, fashion designer and entrepreneur Liz Lange, decided to host an intimate lunch in the verdant grounds of the estate, the RSVPs came flooding in. Hosted, in collaboration with NET-A-PORTER, in honour of her good friend Reed Krakoff, Tiffany & Co’s chief artistic officer, the party celebrated the expansion of the now-iconic Tiffany T collection, available exclusively at NET-A-PORTER until August 15th. Guests including top models Georgia Fowler, Nina Agdal and Dree Hemmingway, actress Jessica Joffe and renaissance woman Athena Calderone embellished colorful summer dresses with their favorite pieces from the collection, which glittered and twinkled in the midday sun. Acoustic music drifted across the grounds while guests dined on caviar blinis, followed by a feast of local farm-to-table fare. The attention to detail took this exquisite lunch to another level. The tablescape was elegant yet effortless – each setting was adorned with wild flowers, neutral linens and crockery cast in Tiffany & Co’s signature duck-egg blue. The party drew to a close around dusk, when the last revellers made their way back towards the city, each basking in the glow of a magical day.
