IN THE MORNING

As soon as I wake up…

…I look at the time and then, depending on how tired I am, I might get an extra 20 minutes in bed. Usually my son [one-year-old Jack] wakes us up [Huntington-Whiteley’s fiancé is actor Jason Statham] at about 6am, so I don’t really have to set an alarm anymore. Then I usually drink some water and stumble downstairs and we all go for a walk around the block.

I wash my face…

…with some warm water and then whatever kind of skin regimen I’m doing at the time – I usually switch things around every few months. At the moment, I’m using [dermatologist] Dr Lancer’s products; he’s got me on his exfoliator and his Lift Serum Intense with texturizing glycinate.

The only place I go with no makeup on…

…is the gym, otherwise I always have a little bit on. I love wearing makeup. I really enjoy putting it on in the morning; I feel like I’m coming alive and getting ready to face the world. Lately I’ve been using NARS Creamy Concealers as a bit of foundation or as a base all over, and I also use Bare Minerals foundation powder, which I really love. Then bronzer, blush, a little bit of mascara and some highlighter. For protection, I use Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Sun Drops – you can just drop them straight into your foundation, it’s a really neat invention.

One of the best makeup tips I’ve learned…

…is to be patient when blending. And I always like to apply a little bit of blush on my brow bone to kind of pull everything together.

I’m really loyal to Body by Simone…

…I’ve been going [to Simone De La Rue’s studio] most days for four years and I love it. It’s a fast-paced, high-intensity workout using your own body weight. I love it because music is blasting, you’re having fun and it’s an all-female, relaxed and positive environment. I’ve seen amazing results.

IN THE EVENING

When I fly…

…I drink a load of water and always take my makeup off. I don’t like to wash my face with the water on the plane, so I usually take some Japanese water wipes – that’s pretty much the only time I’ll use facial wipes, but they’re really just water and are great for taking off makeup. I usually have a sheet mask in my carry-on, but I always feel so paranoid that someone’s going to see me with it on! I really should do it when the lights go down.

I don’t have a specific wind-down routine…

…but usually I head to my bathroom and just have a bit of me-time – I’ll have a bath or a nice shower and put all my nighttime skincare products on.

Every other night before bed…

…I put a little retinol on my skin – I use Dr Lancer’s – and then I put some oil on my body (I love Linda Rodin’s) and whatever moisturizer or serums I’m using. A couple of times a week I use Dr Dennis Gross peel pads. Then I just love to sit down and watch a bit of TV.

On my bedside table…

…I have a baby monitor, a bottle of water, a house phone (I switch my mobile phone off at night), lip balm, a clock, a couple of trinkets – my mum always buys me little bits of silver – a lamp, maybe some flowers and then whatever I’m reading at the time. It’s quite a full table.
