“While Sarah’s hair was still wet, I worked through a volumizer then blow-dried
    with a medium-sized brush
    for bounce.”

“I gave her hair a bend in the mid-section with one- inch barrel tongs. A little dry oil and hairspray were the finishing touches.”

“The shoot day was really rainy. To restyle rained-on hair, build up small amounts of product – it’s easier to refresh that way.”

“I sketched a dark purple pencil close to the lashes mixed with a lavender eyeshadow. I also used a little dark gray – almost black – pencil at the lash roots to frame her eyes.”

“I tend to counter strong eyes with a nude lip; it looks more sophisticated.
    I always line Sarah’s
lips with a brow pencil because it’s closer to her natural coloring. It gives just enough definition to enhance the lip line.”

    “For a healthy flush, I
used Tom Ford Beauty bronzer and pressed a subtle pink blush onto
the apples of her cheeks. The result is pretty and not too bronzed.”
