    Beauty: The beach-fast rules

    Referenced by Rihanna, Gwen Stefani and Emma Stone, Elvira Hancock, the moll played by Michelle Pfeiffer in ’80s classic Scarface, is an enduring beauty influence. “Her look reflected all the excess of ’80s America,” says makeup artist Mary Greenwell. There was no adhering to normal beauty rules: Hancock was all glossy bob, smoky eyes and high-shine lips.
