Like the iconic scene in the 1957 film Funny Face, fashion has declared that we ‘think pink’ this season – and who are we to argue? From fabulous fuchsia to elegant antique rose, the color was prominent in several pre-spring ’26 collections, including Khaite, Tom Ford, Valentino Garavani and Jacquemus, and is in large part responsible for the romantic mood sweeping the runways and the street-style circuit right now.

A key cultural moment that has no doubt reignited our love for pink is Ariana Grande’s second star turn as Glinda in Wicked: For Good. Orchestrated by her stylist Law Roach, the actor and singer has recently stepped out at world premieres wearing a string of custom, runway and archival looks by the likes of Givenchy, Balenciaga and Thom Browne – all in fairy-tale shades of pink that would make the good witch proud. With awards season well underway, we can expect to see a few more sartorial tributes to her character on the red carpet over the next few months, ending with what will no doubt be a final showstopper at the Oscars in March. But how are fashion insiders wearing pink day to day? Here’s where to start…

Make an impact – and spark joy – in head-to-toe pink

Style it out head to toe

In fashion terms, what could be more joyous than wearing pink from top to toe? When it comes to styling, choose accessories in tones and textures that are different to the rest of your outfit – it’ll help add depth and visual interest to the overall look. Perfect for formal daytime events, Gabriela Hearst’s cotton-corduroy ‘Angela’ blazer and ‘Vesta’ pants come in a flamenco-pink hue that complements every skin tone. Style them with Max Mara’s striped poplin shirt and Bottega Veneta’s ‘Andiamo’ tote in marshmallow-pink intrecciato leather for the perfect contrast.

Want to brighten up your workwear? Just add pink – the surprisingly versatile color will add softness to office looks

Make it work for work

Wearing pink to the office might not be the most obvious choice, but you’d be surprised at the difference it can make to classic tailoring. Quieter tones, such as blush, rose and salmon, are as versatile as any neutral – and will therefore work with many of the pieces you already own. Khaite’s figure-skimming ‘Patri’ skirt, for example, looks as chic worn with a crisp white shirt and slingbacks as it does with Lisa Yang’s ‘Marion’ cardigan and ballet flats. Break up a monochrome look with toffee-hued accessories, such as Gucci’s ‘Softbit’ suede tote.

Delicate pinks work double-time, uplifting weekend ensembles

Let it lift your off-duty outfits

Pink has a certain charm that can make even the most casual outfit feel special, so you know what to do if you’re feeling uninspired by your weekend wardrobe. Designed in a beautiful rose shade, Marant Étoile’s ‘Joseline’ jacket looks especially chic paired with slouchy blue denim, so slip yours on with Agolde’s ‘Keira’ jeans from our NET SUSTAIN edit, a cashmere sweater and Toteme’s ‘Day’ ankle boots. For added cool points, finish with a pair of oversized sunglasses and a fuchsia shoulder bag.

Eveningwear in pink is classic enough to never go out of style yet bold enough to turn heads

Add a romantic touch to eveningwear

Whether your style is fun and flirty or elegant and sophisticated, there’s always a place for pink at evening events – Elle Fanning, Amanda Seyfried and Rihanna have all graced the red carpet in pretty pink looks lately. Fforme’s ‘Naomie’ maxi dress is made from pearlescent, hammered satin that catches the light and has a beautiful, liquid-like drape. Complement the cool tones with Tom Ford’s silver lizard-effect leather mules and Anita Ko’s sparkling 18-karat white-gold diamond earrings. Finally, slip Róhe’s charcoal ‘Ezra’ coat over your shoulders before heading out.

Choose accessories for just a pop of color

If you’d rather add just a hint of pink to an outfit, then consider switching up your accessories. Whether you opt for a statement heel, such as Aquazzura’s fuchsia ‘Voile’ pumps, or a sherbet knitted beanie from Johnstons of Elgin, a single accent is a great way to elevate muted looks. Brighter pinks work well with black, navy and gray, while softer blush and coral tones add warmth to trusty neutrals.

If you’re not quite ready to embrace pink in full, try accessories for a subtle pop of color
