In 1885, Emperor Alexander III began to commission Fabergé annually to craft a decorative egg to gift the Empress, each containing a beautiful surprise. The tradition lives on to this day, and this necklace conceals a polished red heart in its locket. Handmade from 18-karat rose gold, it's been painted and guillochéd with enamel and stippled with glistening diamonds.
