Fall is technically here, and yet the temperature in Paris – where the city's Fashion Week is about to close – remains beautifully balmy. So while street-style stars may still be peacocking in micro-minis and crop tops, the rest of us have packed the poolside kaftans and slides into storage and are ready to embrace our fall wardrobe.

When nightfall comes, this in-between season allows for the ultimate French-girl look: slightly vampy eveningwear, paired with bare legs and a red lip.
