Sophie Turner’s AM/PM Routine
SOPHIE TURNER is bidding farewell to Westeros, and Sansa Stark’s trademark flame-red hair with it – but that’s not the only change the actress and Wella Global Brand Ambassador is making in the name of beauty…
IN THE MORNING
I love my sleep…
…but if I’m working, I usually wake up between 4am and 5am. It’s horrific, but if I have a day off, then I tend to lie in until 11am.
I work out…
I take supplements…
…of fish oils, especially when I’m exercising a lot. I’ve found it stops my muscles from being too sore the days after my workout.
My skincare routine used to be low-maintenance…
I’m always changing my hair color…
…I go to my colorist Sonya Dove [Wella’s Global Ambassador] at The Doves Salon in LA, who has recently taken my hair from red to an icy blond, which really brings out the blue in my eyes.
IN THE EVENING
Baths are my indulgence…
I use a hair mask…
…once a week – because of all the extreme coloring, I’ve found my hair can get super dry. I’ve recently been using Wellplex Bond Protector between appointments and my hair has never felt better.
On my bedside table…
…is Lost at Sea: The Jon Ronson Mysteries. He is my favorite author of all time and I read his books religiously. I also have paw paw lip balm and a pouch of lavender – whenever I visit the Corinthia Hotel in London I stockpile their in-room lavender pouches, I’m obsessed.
When I travel…
…my skin gets dry, so I always take a heavy-duty moisturizer on board and a silk scrunchie to tie my hair up.
If I can’t get to sleep …
…my therapist told me I should journal before bed, but I just can’t. Instead, I listen to brown noise on the White Noise app – it really helps.
