Ever since taking the helm at Chloé, Chemena Kamali has made it her mission to ensure each design serves the woman wearing it, so, naturally, practicality is high on her list of priorities. And what could be more practical than sneakers? Making their debut in the Resort ’25 presentation, the label’s new ‘Kick’ pair combines the sporty silhouette of a boxing shoe with the softness of ballet slippers for unparalleled comfort. This low-top version is made from supple mesh with leather and suede accents in signature desert tones that’ll go with almost everything, and work especially well with indigo denim.

From one hero style to another, Chloé’s oversized coat is inspired by a series of capes designed by former creative director Karl Lagerfeld in the ’70s, and it’s the chicest way to stay warm this winter. “This Chloé number was a highlight from the FW24 runway, and cemented Chemena Kamali as one to watch at the helm of the house,” says NET-A-PORTER’s junior market editor, Abbi Minchin. “The checked pattern is eye-catching yet neutral enough for those averse to print, while the cape silhouette adds just the right level of drama for a country walk.” Crafted from weighty, wool-blend flannel, it comes in a loose, flowing shape that captures the fluidity and movement the brand is known for. Follow Minchin’s advice and style yours with a mini dress and over-the-knee boots.

Continuing with themes of everyday ease and wearability, Loewe’s shirt dress is proof that both those qualities can exist in your work wardrobe, too. It has pockets you can slip your hands into and a languid wrap front that secures with an oversized buckle at the hip. Simply add low-heeled mules and Lié Studio’s sculptural ‘The Sonya’ earrings for days spent dashing from the office to meetings and events across town.

The one thing missing? A bag timeless enough to wear from day to night. “Gifting season is approaching, so I am reviewing my options for a self-gifting moment,” says Minchin. “There are a lot of new bag families on the market right now – from Gucci’s ‘Blondie’ to Stella McCartney’s ‘Ryder’ and Chloé’s ‘Kerala’ – so the difficulty is choosing just one.”
