The story of Gucci's 'Flora' print began when Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco took a trip to the house's flagship Milan boutique in the '60s - designer Rodolpho Gucci wished to gift her a token that was as elegant as she was and commissioned the motif to be hand-painted onto a silk scarf.
