“I love playing with proportions. For instance, I’ll combine a voluminous top with slim pants, or wide-leg pants with a playful top. And no outfit is ever complete without jewelry or a nice watch. That being said, keep it simple and don’t overload your look with too many accessories. If your earrings are eye-catching, choose a simple necklace, or don’t wear one at all. The Row is my go-to brand when it comes to bags and shoes. The timeless designs and unique color and texture combinations make it a staple in my wardrobe.”
Focus on self-care
“I spent most of 2020 at home – this change in lifestyle definitely had an impact on the way I dress. I’ve been drawn to cozy fabrics and earthy tones. Lockdown also gave me more time to focus on my skincare routine. My fashion idol is Liu Wen – she infuses every one of her outfits with her own individual charisma. This is what true style means to me. Avoid following rigid rules; instead, wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident. Let the clothes become part of you. The truth is that whenever I worry too much about what other people might think, the look falls short.”
Hydration and SPF are key
“Sunscreen and a good moisturizer are my beauty go-tos – countless skin problems and irritations are caused by a lack of hydration and sun protection. I also recommend taking vitamin supplements, drinking plenty of water and sticking to a regular sleep schedule. Over time, you’ll start observing the changes in your skin.”
