4 times we got bag envy at fashion week
Fashion week may have wrapped in Sydney, but we’re still thinking about the envy-inducing arm-candy that editors and buyers were toting between shows. Scroll down to shop our top picks…
Fashion’s finest flocked to Sydney last week as the city played host to yet another stellar Australian Fashion Week. But while the catwalk collections were compelling (Albus Lumen, we’re looking at you), the pieces we saw off the runway also jumped straight to the top of our wish lists. Editors, buyers and stylists took their street style to another level, especially where accessories were concerned. There were envy-inducing bags from emerging and established designers alike, as Carolina Santo Domingo’s signature Amphora tote made an appearance alongside Prada’s utilitarian cross-body style and Gucci’s (or should we say ‘Guccy’s’) disco-inflected logo bag, while NET-A-PORTER’s Lisa Aiken championed a woven design by Rejina Pyo. The perfect way to test-drive some of SS18’s biggest trends, these trophy pieces make getting from A to B infinitely more chic.
