The perfect highlight
Finally, after years of searching, I think I’ve found The One. Subtle, flattering and oh-so pretty, the Westman Atelier Lit Up Highlight Stick gives skin that glitter-free glow that I love. Created by leading makeup artist Gucci Westman (she’s famous for giving the women she works with a naturally glamorous look), it’s super-easy to blend on cheek and brow bones to leave skin looking beautifully polished and naturally lit from within. The new tool to try
Beauty tools may seem like an unnecessary add-on, but having recently tried – and now added into my regimen – the Hayo’u Beauty Restorer, I’ve already noticed the changes. An ancient Chinese technique, you simply follow your face contours with the jade ‘scraper’ (it isn’t painful, though you may see some temporary redness) to relax tension, boost circulation and maximize the absorption of your serums and oils. Do it daily and it helps de-puff and decongest skin, but best of all it gives a pleasingly ‘plumped up’ effect that instantly makes you look more awake and energized. Danielle Fox
The golden glow giver
While we may all have our own swear-by beauty products, when it comes to self-tan there is one unanimous choice that every member of this discerning beauty team uses: Tan Luxe. Apart from giving skin a true ‘tan’ tone, it’s the choice of textures – oil, lotion, water, cream – that makes this brand so good. And now there’s a new one to add: Tan Luxe Super Glow. With an ultra-hydrating hyaluronic acid base, it gives skin a much-needed shot of moisture (and self-tan is notoriously drying), making it great for summer when skin invariable feels more parched. NH
The lash essentials
I’m more than a little obsessed with perfect eyelashes; they must be long, thick, velvety and coated in multiple layers of mascara. If this sounds familiar, then you too need a lash serum that will minimize shedding and promote growth. My go-to lash-care regimen consists of Revitalash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner – containing biotin, green tea extract, peptides and lipids to prevent breakage – applied every morning to my lash roots, and a twice-daily cleanse with Revitalash Micellar Water Lash Wash that helps keep your lashes long and strong, making it perfect for everyone who regularly has lash extensions. The lip conditioner
With a name as enticing as the product itself – who doesn’t want to bathe their lips in collagen? – Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath is a brilliant skincare/makeup hybrid and your new makeup-bag essential. Lips are notoriously dry, and this gloss-come-mask (available in three colors) hydrates and plumps ‘flat’ dry lips fast using marine collagen, while also giving you the prettiest of sheens. DF
The new anti-ager
Best known as a sleep aid, melatonin has also been shown to have some surprising advantages when it comes to skincare. Zelens Z-Melatonin Overnight Serum draws on the hormone’s ability to strengthen the skin’s protective barrier and stimulate collagen production; it’s also known to be a heavy-duty antioxidant, which is good news for slowing down the appearance of skin aging. It’s best used at night when the skin is primed for repair and doesn’t have to contend with UV. SS
The personalized lip palette
There is something incredibly satisfying about matching your lipstick to your outfit or mood, and the Burgundy Lipstick Palette from Serge Lutens allows you to do just that. Whether applied solo or layered up to create your perfect shade, these deep reds are designed to suit every complexion and can be built from a sheer wash of pigment to a bolder finish. DF
