Silvia Furmanovich first discovered the ancient art of marquetry after meeting artisans while traveling in her native Brazil - it's since become a signature in both her jewelry and objects like this box. Beautifully assembled in the shape of a heart, it's made from hand-carved slivers of wood meticulously arranged in abstract geometric forms. It's edged in gold-tone metal and opens to a soft, velvet-lined interior.
