On Tuesday evening, NET-A-PORTER and GLAM4GOOD hosted a welcome dinner at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana, marking the opening of the club’s annual Women Elevate weekend. The event brought together the summit’s guests for an evening of drinks, dinner and important discussions about how philanthropy can create lasting, transformative impact.

Women Elevate – a gathering of female leaders and changemakers – is held in support of the Yellowstone Club Community Foundation (YCCF), which funds and fosters organizations across the greater Big Sky region working in health and wellness, education, environmental stewardship, arts, culture and community. The weekend is designed to blend physical activity with thoughtful discussion, creating space for both connection and contribution.

The focal point of the evening was a fireside conversation titled Stories That Move, moderated by social entrepreneur, impact investor, author, and co-founder and CEO of the Policy Circle, Sylvie Légère; who was joined by Heather Kaminetsky, CEO of NET-A-PORTER, and Mary Alice Stephenson, Founder and CEO of GLAM4GOOD. The discussion explored how great storytelling is central to engineering meaningful and lasting impact.

Kaminetsky spoke about the responsibility that comes with operating at a global scale and the importance of integrating purpose across every layer of a business, rather than treating philanthropy as an isolated initiative. Stephenson reflected on GLAM4GOOD’s mission to transform surplus from the fashion and beauty industries into practical support for women and communities experiencing clothing and personal-care insecurity across the United States, as well as on its granting program, designed to empower young women leading innovative ventures for social good.

“Partnering with GLAM4GOOD at Yellowstone Club feels incredibly aligned because it reflects a shared commitment for meaningful action,” says Kaminetsky. “The evening was about creating space for connection and conversation, while grounding philanthropy in dignity, intention and shared values.”

“Operating at a global scale comes with both opportunity and responsibility,” she continues. “Beyond donations, we think carefully about how we use our voice, who we spotlight, whose stories we tell, and how we can open doors through visibility, mentorship and long-term support.”

From February 9 through to March 8, NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER are pledging 10 percent of full-price sales to GLAM4GOOD*, inviting customers to participate directly in its mission.

“Impact is most powerful when it feels shared,” explains Kaminetsky. “By donating through our global shopping drive in support of GLAM4GOOD, we invite our community to be part of the story and extend the spirit of the evening well beyond Big Sky.”

Guests at the dinner included Ciara Wolfe, Vice President of Philanthropy at Yellowstone Club Community Foundation; Julia Davidson, President of Storm Castle Foundation; Molly Kircher, Chief Culture Officer of the Kircher Collection; Lexie Maruszewski, Partner at StepStone Group; and a powerful group of impact investors, including Laure Sudreau, Helena D’Angelo, Tracy Walker Smith, Ivana Jermoluk, Ashley Frist, Puja Kaul and Erica Gervais Pappendick.

“It is a true honor to welcome Heather Kaminetsky and the NET-A-PORTER team to the Yellowstone Club,” adds Stephenson. “GLAM4GOOD and YCCF are deeply grateful for their partnership and support in bringing this evening celebrating impact to life. When women unite with purpose, we do more than share ideas – we create momentum, we inspire action, and together we create meaningful change that reaches far beyond this room and into the lives of others in powerful and lasting ways.”

The evening served as an introduction to a wider program of activities taking place across the weekend, created by Sylvie Légère and Ciara Wolfe, Vice President of Philanthropy at Yellowstone Club, including skiing and conditioning sessions, alongside discussions on tackling human trafficking, supporting Indigenous communities in Montana, and other advocacy and social responsibility topics.
