Gucci

Shorts

Gucci has redefined itself since Alessandro Michele took the helm in 2015. Innovative and progressive, his vision has helped change the way we view luxury in the 21st century. With his romantic, geeky and gender-fluid approach, his collections are eclectic and contemporary, often with more than a nod to the past.

Michele's love of vintage is clearly on show in our edit of Gucci shorts. Think '70s and '80s style running shorts, tweed, and denim cut-offs with embroidery and frayed hems. The iconic 'GG' logo in Michele's designs also has us dreaming of the past, reminding us of the label's famed belt buckle from the '70s - which, in turn, was an evolution of the original Gucci rhombi design from the '30s. The 'GG' is jacquard-woven into blue and white pajama-inspired shorts and embroidered on black velvet sports shorts. Another signature from the archives, the famous horsebit, appears as gold hardware on white tailored shorts.
