Given the past year and the immense challenges faced by all of us around the world, it has never felt more important to celebrate sisterhood and togetherness. Therefore, this year we invite our global network to share their #PowerToChange commitment for a better world, and to harness our shared ability to bring about more equality, peace and prosperity for all women.
For 2021, NET-A-PORTER has collaborated with 12 female designers who have created 13 exclusive pieces across Ready-to-Wear, Lifestyle and Jewelry, with 100 percent of the NET-A-PORTER profits* donated to Women for Women International**. The exclusive collection consists of nine T-shirts, designed by Stella McCartney, Emilia Wickstead, Westman Atelier, Tove, Anya Hindmarch, Jennifer Fisher, Simone Rocha, Amina Muaddi and Ninety Percent; jewelry by Roxanne Assoulin and Alighieri, and homeware by Anissa Kermiche.
In addition to the donation of 100 percent of profits* from the sales within this collection, for every public post tagged #PowerToChange, @womenforwomen and @netaporter on TikTok or Instagram, between March 1 to March 8, 2021, NET-A-PORTER will donate $1 to Women for Women International**. We would love to see you take part in this, so please do share your posts and pledges!

Model, student and co-author of Mixed Feelings, Naomi Shimada affirms: “This International Women’s Day, I pledge to keep learning about all the harm that the gender binary creates.”
Playing on her own initials, designer Emilia Wickstead has created an exclusive IWD T-shirt with the words ‘Extraordinary Woman’ on the front, as seen on Shimada.
Interior designer, culinary storyteller and entertaining expert Athena Calderone dons Anya Hindmarch’s T-shirt, which features artwork produced by Margaret Calvert, titled Woman at Work, playing on the gendered stereotypes on road signs. Calderone told us: “I pledge to continue to use my voice and my platform to empower women to embrace their whole, multi-faceted selves.”
Model and LGBTQ+ campaigner Teddy Quinlivan sports Westman Atelier’s ‘FORCE FEMININE’ T-shirt, celebrating the collective energy, compassion and grit of our extraordinary friends, colleagues, mothers, sisters and daughters during these unprecedented times. Quinlivan adds: “International Women’s Day is a time when we celebrate the accomplishments and accolades of women all over the world.”
I know we can all pledge to uplift and support more women in 2021”Coco Rocha
Model Salem Mitchell dons Simone Rocha’s gorgeous pink tee, emblazoned with the word ‘SISTERS’ in a gothic font and tells us: “This year for International Women’s Day, I am committing to building deeper connections with the women in my life, so that they always feel seen, heard and supported. I have the #PowerToChange, and I want to start within my personal community.”
As part of our campaign, supermodel, mother, writer and activist Coco Rocha aptly showcases the Stella McCartney T-shirt – inspired by sci-fi comics and retro arcade games – which depicts a ‘Super Stella Hero’ saving the planet. “I know we can all pledge to uplift and support more women in 2021,” says Rocha.
