“From my earliest memories in primary school, whenever anyone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, the answer was always a dress designer – apparently, I didn’t know the word ‘fashion’ at that point. While I veered away from that path as I got older – I went on to gain a master’s degree in drama and theater – life eventually brought me back to fashion.
“It’s an absolute pleasure getting to know my clients and building strong relationships with them over time. Understanding their individual style and being able to make meaningful recommendations as a result is so rewarding. My clients know that I will always treat them with honesty and integrity, so they feel confident in asking my advice on any piece; if I know we could find something better for them, I’ll say so.
“I’ve always been experimental when it comes to my own personal style. I’m often inspired by iconic fashion moments from film and music, including Melanie Griffith in Working Girl, Jessica Lange in Tootsie and Goldie Hawn in Housesitter. I definitely used to pick pieces depending on whether they were a sought-after style at the time, but in recent years I’ve come to understand the importance of feeling authentically individual – that brings confidence, which will instantly elevate every outfit.”
STATEMENT SHEARLING
“An investment coat should be a style that you love not because it’s particularly on-trend or from the hottest designer of the season, but because you feel amazing every time you wear it. It should work with your existing wardrobe and be beautifully crafted, so it stands the test of time. This season, I am really loving statement shearling designs, especially those cast in bold colors and prints, or finished with an oversized collar. Cropped styles are also a good option as the dimensions help balance the density of the fabric. An amazing shearling coat broadens your styling options even as the temperature dips – they’re so warm you can comfortably pair them with a mini skirt or dress, but they’re also perfect for elevating a simple sweater and jeans. This season’s stunning shearling pieces by Michael Kors Collection and Saint Laurent are truly traffic-stopping designs – the stuff iconic fashion moments are made of.”
MILITARY BOOTS
“I’ve always loved boots, particularly military styles, because the right pair can make you feel unstoppable. A mid-heel boot can give the illusion of longer legs and offer empowering elevation, while remaining comfortable enough to wear all day, too. Elsewhere, flat, lace-up styles combine practicality with elegance and are perfect for pairing with dresses or tailored shorts. Some of the best boots I’ve ever bought were the Jimmy Choo ‘Cruz’ with a 65mm heel. I also love the new Chloé styles, particularly the ‘Franne’, and Giuseppe Zanotti’s ‘Nevada’ boots. For me, military designs are totally timeless, and an essential for every woman’s wardrobe.”

TALISMANIC JEWELRY
“For me, the most special pieces of jewelry are the ones that carry meaning. So, the emergence of more talismanic pieces from fine jewelry designers is wonderful to see. I think every woman should have at least one talismanic piece in her collection that she chose and bought for herself, because it’s self-affirming, and the connection between the wearer and the piece is sacred. I am in love with Sorellina’s talismanic pieces, especially its Tarot collection. These major arcana-inspired designs are powerful archetypes and Sorellina has brought them to life in a beautiful, joyful way. I’m also completely obsessed with Retrouvaí’s pieces, which have an inherent heirloom quality that is very distinctive. In terms of styling, stacking talismanic jewels feels like the most natural way to me – it’s like adding a new chapter to your story.”
