Nili Lotan’s latest capsule pays tribute to the spirit of the American West and the four key pieces she believes you’ll have in your wardrobe for years to come. One of our favorites from the collection is the ‘Maelle’ jacket, which could easily be mistaken for a prized vintage find. “Jackets don’t come much chicer than Nili Lotan’s Western style,” says NET-A-PORTER’s junior shopping editor, Connie Daw. “It’s crafted from supple tan suede and trimmed with fringing that creates mesmerizing movement.”

As for outfit pairings, Daw suggests a pared-back approach. “I think suede is coolest when kept simple, teamed with a cashmere sweater and tailored pants. However, if you want to lean into the Western trend that dominated the FW24 runways, add jeans or a denim skirt and leather cowboy boots.” Fitting the brief, Khaite’s ‘Nevada’ pair has contrasting snake-effect wingtips and rests on a slanted kitten heel that adds just enough height to longer hemlines. For low-key weekends spent gallery hopping or having lunch with friends, reach for The Row’s ‘N/S Park’ bucket bag in brown textured leather, and Celine Eyewear’s tortoiseshell acetate sunglasses to shield your eyes from the winter sun.

A chic alternative to a blazer on meeting-free days, Lisa Yang’s ‘Melba’ cardigan is spun from the softest cashmere in butter-yellow and has a relaxed fit, so you can easily layer it over a shirt or blouse. Keep things comfortable by teaming with Loewe’s straight-leg pants (the elasticated waist makes them ideal for long days at your desk) and a pair of low-heeled mules.

Finally, if you’re heading to dinner straight from the office, add extra polish with Savette’s ‘Symmetry Pochette’ tote. Handmade in Florence from smooth burgundy leather, it’s detailed with a signature gold twist lock and has a boxy silhouette evocative of classic mid-century styles.
