Valentino Garavani's dress is covered with sequins that give it a liquid-like shine and will reflect light from all angles - look closely and you can see they're interspersed with crystals and beads, too. Suspended from slender straps, it's been made in Italy from wool and silk-blend crepe that nips in at the waist before kicking out to an A-line skirt.
