Like the iconic scene in the 1957 film Funny Face, fashion has declared that we ‘think pink’ this season – and who are we to argue? From fabulous fuchsia to elegant antique rose, the color was prominent in several pre-spring ’26 collections, including Khaite, Tom Ford, Valentino Garavani and Jacquemus, and is in large part responsible for the romantic mood sweeping the runways and the street-style circuit right now.
A key cultural moment that has no doubt reignited our love for pink is Ariana Grande’s second star turn as Glinda in Wicked: For Good. Orchestrated by her stylist Law Roach, the actor and singer has recently stepped out at world premieres wearing a string of custom, runway and archival looks by the likes of Givenchy, Balenciaga and Thom Browne – all in fairy-tale shades of pink that would make the good witch proud. With awards season well underway, we can expect to see a few more sartorial tributes to her character on the red carpet over the next few months, ending with what will no doubt be a final showstopper at the Oscars in March.
