Lately, the street-style set has been making a strong case for taking our sleepwear out of bedroom and into our everyday rotation. But don’t get the wrong idea – we’re not talking seductive sets, cotton night dresses or striped pajamas. This season’s take on lingerie dressing is an elevated, relaxed affair – think slinky camisoles, lace-trimmed skirts and slip dresses designed to be mixed and matched with your current wardrobe staples.

When it comes to sourcing incredible lingerie, our first port of call is Carine Gilson. The couturier specializes in handmade lace and silk underpinnings, offering a range of beautiful slips, kimonos and matching separates. The brand’s lustrous silk-satin camisole and skirt co-ord is one of our editors’ favorites, delivering a delicate boudoir-inspired ensemble that works for daytime, too. Wear yours with Savette’s sleek ‘Slim Symmetry’ bag and Khaite’s ‘Celia Pocket’ pumps à la Sophia Roe.

Styled correctly, this indisputably romantic trend is absolutely office appropriate. To get it right, pair a laced-trimmed midi – Dôen does them best – with Nili Lotan’s oversized ‘Yorke’ shirt and Jil Sander’s strappy red sandals. The crispness of the shirt provides an interesting contrast to the soft, slinky texture of the ‘Elowette’ skirt, worn together they an effortlessly cool wardrobe update. Add some dainty diamond studs from the likes of Anita Ko and you have a desk-to-dinner look sorted.

Alternatively, if you’re keen to style out the summer in fashion’s favorite color, look to Staud’s exquisite ‘Sonoma’ dress. Its gathered silhouette and asymmetric lace hem are the starting point for a seriously sophisticated all-black outfit. Worn with some iconic accessories – including Balenciaga’s ‘Le City’ shoulder bag, Gucci’s ‘Horsebit’ ballet flats and a pair of Miu Miu sunglasses – and you’ll be asking yourself why you didn’t liberate your lingerie sooner.

With ’90s nostalgia showing no signs of slowing down, a must-have in your closet is an alluring slip dress. This mini from Chloé is an excellent choice, as it playfully nods to vintage French intimates. We love the counterpoint of its chartreuse satin and white lace with Arma’s ‘Faye’ tan suede jacket. Take your cue from the fashion crowd and slip into a matching pair of Jimmy Choos and grab Khaite’s off-white ‘Donna’ clutch before heading out.

To make a camisole work for an off-duty day, consider styling one with another major spring/summer 2026 trend: balloon pants. Faithfull’s longline ‘Adnina’ top looks effortlessly chic layered over Stella McCartney’s billowy cotton bottoms. Both pieces are made using lower-impact materials, making them highlights from our NET SUSTAIN edit. Complete your look by leaning into elegant accessories, including Alaïa’s enduring laser-cut suede ballet flats and carnelian earrings from Sophie Buhai.
