First thing in the morning…

…I usually drink some lemon water and then a double espresso. I cannot function without a morning coffee. That’s also my early-morning-on-set routine, although I try to delay my first coffee until the cameras are up and rolling.

If I haven’t gone to sleep with a face mask…

….my skin is normally a little dull and dry in the morning. I start my routine by washing my face with Dr Esthé’s Enzyme Deep Clear Powder Wash. I then use a vitamin C serum, some moisturizer and always an SPF50 sunscreen.

Something new I’ve introduced into my routine this year…

…is an LED mask. Plus, regularly sticking to my morning and evening skincare routines and drinking more water makes a huge difference to my skin. Consistency is key and definitely something I need to work on – it's always easier when I’m not on set.

I have a terrible habit of picking my spots…

…so I’m currently making a very big effort not to. Spot stickers usually do the job and are a very helpful reminder not to touch them and to avoid scarring.

On a ‘bad’ face day…

…I use Biodance’s Hydro Cera-nol Real Deep Mask if I’m really dry – it’s a game changer and makes your skin feel plump and dewy. Abib’s Collagen Eye Patches and an ice roller are also life savers – and, again, hydration is key.

I’m a minimalist when it comes to wearing makeup

If I’m not going to work or putting on makeup, I will always brush through my eyebrows with a brow gel and curl my lashes. That’s my everyday, go-to make-up routine with the addition of some concealer and a little blush or bronzer for my nose and cheeks. My go-to eyelash curler is Muji’s Portable one, believe it or not – it’s small, fits in any bag and curls my eyelashes perfectly. My current eyebrow gel is from Byellie, which works a dream. I have quite thick eyebrows and they do not move when I apply it.

I love different scents for different occasions

My daytime scents are usually more fresh and light, while my nighttime scents tend to be more musky. My current favorite perfume is Hermès’s Barénia – it’s sultry and mature – and I feel very much myself and confident when wearing it. It feels in tune with who I am at the moment. Chanel No5 is a scent that reminds me of my paternal grandmother – I remember seeing it in her bathroom and secretly stealing a spray.

My hairstylist is my secret hair weapon

Kieron Lavine is the only one allowed to cut my hair and I go to him for all the advice I need. He’s a hair genius.

On jet lag…

If I’m traveling to the US from the UK, I usually try and sleep on the flight as much as I can and stay up as late as possible on the first day. Working out and taking naps is also pretty helpful – I’m a big believer in naps; I am Spanish so I love a siesta.

I do a lot of strength training

I got into it when I started on season one of [the AppleTV+ series] Foundation, that’s where I got introduced to my trainer, Ian Benson. He’s a professional power lifter and introduced me to that way of training. I especially love leg day! Feeling strong is so empowering and it honestly feels like a form of meditation.

I eat most things

And I have a pretty balanced diet. When I’m filming, I try to be as clean as possible. In my normal day-to-day life, I fast intermittently and usually skip breakfast; but when I’m working, I need to make sure I’m fueled properly. My set meals usually consist of some sort of eggs and skyr yogurt for breakfast and a chicken-breast-and-salad wrap for lunch. Then I always have a little chocolate treat – I’m currently on a Snickers kick.

My go-to party look is…

… a slicked-back bun for my hair and my basic makeup look, with the addition of some gentle contouring with bronzer, a stronger blush color, some brown or auburn eye shadow and a good lash. Sometimes I use highlighter, too, if I’m feeling like I want a little more glow.

My post-shower body moisturizing routine is very important to me

At the moment it consists of using Sol de Janeiro moisturizer, always followed by any kind of body oil, my current favorite is Palmers cocoa butter body oil. In the shower, I love a weekly body scrub and L’Occitane’s shower oil is truly life-changing.

On getting to sleep…

We shot [the first season of the television series] Passenger for about six weeks and it was mostly night shoots so the feeling of being wired but tired is something I know pretty well. My usual routine on my way home from a night shoot is a cup of chamomile in the car and not looking at my phone at all when I walk through the door.

I love sharing a meal with my loved ones

Whether that’s having a dinner party at home with friends, heading out to try a new restaurant or sharing a big lunch with my family when I’m with them. Sharing food and a meal with people I love is so important to me and I think it really brings people together.
